Sonali Govind (she/her) is ANHD’s Housing Development and Preservation Policy Associate. She brings experience spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with a focus on housing finance and urban policy. In her current role, she advances policies that strengthen nonprofit ownership, promote preservation, and expand access to affordable housing across New York City. Previously, Sonali worked at the New York State Housing Finance Agency and a boutique investment bank, where she specialized in issuing and underwriting bonds for multi-family and single-family housing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy with a concentration in sustainability and housing development.
