As ANHD’s Senior Housing Policy Associate, Peter Estes (he/him) supports policy, research, and advocacy efforts, with a particular focus on tenant-related initiatives spearheaded by ANHD members and allies. Most recently, he conducted housing policy research and analysis at the NYU Furman Center. Previously, Peter was a community organizer – working first with parents and caregivers to secure public school funding, and later with seniors and people with disabilities to push for affordable internet and housing justice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in Education from Tufts University and a Master’s in Urban Planning from NYU Wagner.
