Training Series

ANHD’s training series is designed to ensure local community groups and individuals interested in building, preserving, managing, and supporting deeply and permanently affordable housing, and in promoting economic justice have the skills, resources, and networks needed to tackle complex community development, housing and economic justice issues.

ANHD’s Affordable Housing Institute offers single and multi-day training sessions on multi-family housing preservation, sustainable building practices, project financing, property management, long-term asset management, strategic opportunities, and more. Expert facilitators have included representatives from Infinite Horizons, CUNY Building Performance Lab and NYC Accelerator, Goldstein Hall, and STRADA Consultants LLC.

Additionally, ANHD staff and partners occasionally offer other timely training sessions on our issue areas, such as Organizing Tenant Associations, How to Prevent Burnout for Organizers, Making Meetings Memorable, CRA 101, and Small Business Merchant Organizing 101.

All of ANHD’s training sessions are low-cost or free, and open to all. We encourage you to browse our current, upcoming workshops below. If you have any questions or suggestions for trainings, reach out to ANHD’s program coordinator, Ceinna Little.
